A diluter is a filtration system that is mainly used to reduce the smoke concentration in environments where a lot of welding fumes are released.
The welding fumes are extracted from the welding zone. In order to reduce the concentration of the fumes, the welding fumes are mixed in the diluter with clean air, which is sucked in from below in the hall. The diluted mixture of welding fumes and clean air is then filtered and distributed via jet grilles in the vicinity of the workplace. This helps to reduce the concentration of welding fumes in the air and ensures a safer working environment.
