As a Field Sales Engineer, your role is to ensure the Sales target for your region is achieved in line with the Strategy Plan and within the time frame expected and generated with minimum risk.

The Field Sales Engineer will develop and nurture the business plan and targets set for your Business Region by creating a balance between reactive and proactive selling to existing and new customers as well as developing relationships with OEMs and key accounts.

Your role will involve working closely with the sales team, projects team and marketing to create an effective plan for your territory combined with the implementation of the internal sales training program (Application Development Program).

You will be officially based at our office in Mechelen, however the position is remote with regular travel throughout your own region and potentially to colleague’s regions to support at various times.

Strengthening the EMEA team: Commissioning Engineers

Our team of Commissioning Engineers in the EMEA region currently consists of three engineers. Due to the increasing demand for large-scale dehumidification projects, especially in the lithium-ion battery industry, we are strengthening our team with five new colleagues.

We are looking for a real team player with a high degree of customer focus. You perform preventive maintenance on various Munters equipment in Belgium. You take care of installation, configuration, modification and repair on location. You are eager to learn and have a proactive attitude. You take initiative in giving advice to the customer and you enjoy identifying commercial opportunities. You help the team by improving processes. You make daily reports in our CRM system, actively look for commercial opportunities. You do this by working closely with colleagues in the sales, service & admin departments. The Service Engineering team consists of 5 people.

Skills, competencies & background:

Graduate in electromechanics – HVAC technology
Affinity with HVAC or a background in installation technology
VCA-certified is a plus.
Ambitious and driven to achieve goals;
Good knowledge of Dutch and English, French is a plus.
