CinchSeal’s goal is to provide customers with a solution to leakage problems while, at the same time, eliminating any damage to the shaft or the seal. Furthermore, the solution should be durable and easy to install and maintain. This has resulted in a new design, where a blue rubber boot made from high-tech silicone is placed firmly around the shaft and turns with it. This rubber boot drives two white PTFE rotor cups with the same speed as the shaft and these rotor cups provide the sealing surface against the metal housing.
The patented Split Seal Design means that CinchSeals are made out of two parts, so that the seal can be easily and cost-efficiently installed and maintained without removing drive units or bearings. Because of its unique design, no shaft or seal damage occurs which guarantees highest product safety standards and has resulted in USDA and FDA certification, for use in the production of meat, poultry and baby foods as well as pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
